If so, we have a great opportunity for an IT Systems Administrator to join a company who prides itself onbeing a leader in its field based in the South West.

**IT Systems Administrator responsibilities include:
- *
  • Maintain and upkeep of the internal systems, including Exchange, Active Directory, Networks, VMware and Office 36
  • Administer, manage and maintain all aspects of the onsite Network, Servers and Appliances, maintaining performance, stability and security
  • Daily Backups, Systems Monitoring, Capacity planning, Monthly patching, firmware management and systemwide updates
  • Project work to refresh existing infrastructure (SAN, connectivity, Switches, VM hosts)
  • Mentoring junior team members and passing knowledge across the team.

IT Systems Administrator requirements include:
-


  • Microsoft AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO services
  • Microsoft Exchange Architecture, administration and maintenance
  • Microsoft Desktop Platforms
  • Solid background with VMWare Virtualisation, building clustered solutions from scratch.
  • Network Administration (Switching, Routing, VLANs etc, preferably on Cisco, HP and Aruba hardware)
  • Convey technical detail to multiple audience types and understand enduser concerns
  • Veeam Backup product suite
  • Firewalls (preferably Checkpoint) and good understanding of data security
  • System monitoring and remediation using monitoring tools such as Nagios

You will be focused on supporting the existing infrastructure to a 3rd line level, with a focus on identifying, scoping and implementing improvements.

This work will be undertaken both independently and as part of a team. Due to the nature of the work, therole will be hybrid with a blend of office and remote working.
