Lecturer in Maths:


Full-time and fixed-term for 1 year

Unqualified:
£22,904 - £27,030 per annum

Qualified:
£29,162 - £45,077 per annum


An exciting opportunity has arisen within Bridgend College for a full time Lecturer in Maths to join our fantastic Skills team on a fixed-term basis.


You will have previous experience of delivering pre-GCSE and GCSE Maths, as well as the Essential Application of Number qualification, as you will play a lead role in the preparation and delivery of these learning programmes effectively and efficiently, including marking and tracking learner's work/progress.

You will guide students in their academic journey from participating in the recruitment, to working with them through their studies to completion.


We ask that you have knowledge of current WJEC Mathematics and Essential Skills qualifications up to Level 2 specifications, along with a degree in Maths or equivalent experience.

You should also hold a PGCE certificate (or be prepared to obtain this) and have excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population.
