The Customer Service person is responsible for ensuring each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly and professional experience.

In this role you will be able to quickly establish rapport with customers and contribute to overall customer satisfaction. You will be required to build and maintain a strong knowledge of Rich Sauces' products.

The role will include processing daily customer orders in line with the Company SOPs on Sage200 and supporting the Sales and Operations Manager with daily communications, reporting and organisation, liaising with remote sales teams and other departments as necessary.

Duties of Post:

To support Rich Sauces Sales with the provision of excellent and professional customer service
Customer order processing: To process sales/sample orders on Sage 200 system; ensuring all orders are processed using RS standard procedures and customers/sales reps are fully compliant with internal documentation.
Liaising with Tele-Accounts Manager, Sales Reps, Accounts Department and Dispatch team on all aspects of customer orders as required, from ensuring orders are received on a timely basis for dispatch / logistics to dealing with any queries.
Liaising with logistics providers to be aware of and communicate the timings of deliveries.
Working with internal departments to ensure opportunities to sell from slow moving stock.
To support Sales teams with timely completion of agreed sales action plans and to compile associated information for use by management.
Support activity and coordinate Sample distribution

Essential Criteria:

Previous experience in a customer service role
Good administration skills
Strong verbal and written communication

Person spec:

Good telephone manner; enthusiastic and strong customer focus
Reliable and organised
Excellent attention to detail
Analytical and numerate
Friendly outgoing manner
Ability to work in a team and independently

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of UK and Irish food service market / catering industry
Experience of working in a Sales & Marketing environment

Salary:
£22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
