The Role:
The Senior Corporate & Scientific Presentation & Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and effective presentations, data visualisation, digital/print graphic and general design support.
This is a fast-paced and high visibility role, working closely with Communications, Investor Relations, Executive Leadership and our scientific teams, while adhering to our brand.
This role reports to Communications Director(s).Please note, this is a hybrid position, with regular on-site visits required to our headquarters in Oxford, UK.
As the Graphic & Presentation Designer, you will have the opportunity to:
- Transform generic, text
- Ensure brand standards and guidelines while maintaining graphic aesthetic and quality benchmarks across multiple platforms and media.
- Partner with researchers and scientists to turn complex scientific concepts, graphics and tables into easytounderstand visuals and/or videos.
- Conceptualise, create, design and style various types of media including scientific illustrations, posters, templates, presentations, publication cover art, storyboards, and social media assets.
- Support the development of our visual language as an extension of our brand (illustrations, icons, colours, typography, etc.) curating, maintaining, and contributing to the brand ecosystem and asset library.
- Selfmanage and execute multiple projects, meeting multiple deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
- Present visual concepts and ideas in an organised, professional, and effective manner.
- Stay current on the organisation's materials, creative software skills and trends.
Requirements:
- 24 years of presentations/graphic design experience in a corporation, academic, agency or healthcare environment with a track record of developing and delivering impactful presentations and graphic design.
- Degree in graphic design, illustrations or related field.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel), Google Suite (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Drive), Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, After Effect, Premiere Pro). Experience with Canva, Airtable, and Slack is a plus, but not essential.
- 3D rendering and understanding of Python and Blender to create and animate scientific graphic is a plus, but not essential.
- Creativity, with strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition.
- Team player mindset with great communication, problemsolving and project management skills, and ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines.
