Are you a recent Art, Drama or Music Graduate seeking work with children?


Protocol Education are seeking patient, passionate and willing Creative Classroom Assistants to work in a mainstream school in Newcastle upon Tyne (UK).

We are seeking applicants with creative backgrounds like Art, Drama, and Music. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone considering a career in Art Therapy, Occupational therapy, or teaching.

To be considered for this role you must be available to work Monday-Friday (Term time only).

You will live in or around the Tyne and Wear area (Protocol Education will work with you to find a role in one of our local partnership schools to ensure minimum amount of travel).

You will be educated to degree level or hold relevant experience working with children. This is an entry level position and no previous experience of working with children is required at graduate level.


The successful applicant will:


  • Hold a university degree
  • Have an Enhanced DBS/ be willing to obtain one
  • Be able to work Monday-Friday (term time)
  • Have a supporting and encouraging manner with young children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
