Costain are recruiting for a
Senior Commissioning Engineer to join our CMDP (Southern Water) engineering team.


About the project
CMDP is a joint venture between Costain and MWHT and delivers a range of schemes to maintain and improve Southern Water's water supply and wastewater treatment works in the eastern half of its region (Kent & Sussex)


Key responsibilities
Managing all commissioning activities ensuring work is undertaken safely in accordance with Company Procedures, specifications, and good working practices
Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all commissioning activities from design through to scheme final completion
Work closely and monitor team members to ensure project requirements are met
Reporting commissioning/process/closeout activities and progress to the Area MEICA Manager
Liaise with Design Coordinator to ensure plant commissioning requirements are incorporated at design stage and included in appropriate scope of works
Review of design deliverables, including FDS, equipment and instrument lists, P&IDs, control philosophy and telemetry requirements
Compile commissioning documentation and deliverables
Liaise with sub-contractors regards commissioning deliverables and interfaces


About you
Experience of commissioning in the utilities sector (preferably water)
Experience of installation & commissioning of both electrical and mechanical assets
Experience of working to electrical procedures, including providing electrical permit to works
CSCS card

SSSTS
Excellent communication skills
Full UK Driving license
