Age UK is currently recruiting for an exciting new position in the Charity -
Volunteering Learning System Administrator.


In this role, you'll be responsible for providing Learning Management System (LMS) administrative service and support to over 700 volunteer managers, tens of thousands of volunteers, as well as the wider local Age UK partner network.


Working as part of the L&D and Wellbeing Team, you'll also be in close collaboration with our Volunteering Development and Digital & Technology Teams.


As
Volunteering Learning System Administrator, you'll ensure consistency in business process related to the LMS (Moodle), user experience and content quality.

With strong problem-solving skills, you'll be able to trouble-shoot, critically listen and clearly communicate to different stakeholders, ensuring a fantastic LMS experience for all users.


This is a hybrid opportunity, a blend of homebased and office working. Our linked office for this role is in London and you would be expected to attend the office at least once a month.

Must haves:

  • Passion towards people development, agile and forward thinking.
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience working in the charity sector or with voluntary groups.
  • Experience working with or managing multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience of working collaboratively.
  • Strong IT skills, with extensive knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Forms, MS Dynamics/alternative CRM system.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate complex information clearly and in response to the needs of different audiences.
  • Experience delivering customer service or support.
  • Strong organisational skills.

Great to haves:


  • Experience administering Moodle.
  • Experience working in a crossdiscipline team in particular with colleagues from a digital technology function.
  • Experience working with volunteers.
  • Experience working in a federated organisation or structure.
  • Interest in or experience of designing and creating elearning modules.
