    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer/Team Leader to join our prestigious client based in Stafford. This family-run business specializes in the dairy sector, supplying a wide range of products to businesses across the Midlands.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a small, dynamic engineering team where there are excellent opportunities for progression.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee a small team of 5 engineers, assigning tasks and responsibilities.
    • Monitor performance and support with training needs.
    • Take a hands-on approach and support the team with planned and reactive maintenance tasks.
    • Perform a mix of both Mechanical and Electrical repairs.

    Maintenance Tasks:

    • Maintenance of Filling Machines, Wrapping Machines, Inverters, Labelling Machines, Robotics, Pneumatic Systems, Conveyors, Motors, PLCs, Gearboxes, Control Systems, Valves, Pumps etc.

    Key Skills and Experience:

    • Proven experience managing a team of engineers in a production, manufacturing, recycling, or industrial environment.
    • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage effectively.
    • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Strong understanding of health and safety protocols.
    • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
