Description

We are currently looking for a Downstream Process data science to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Slough, Berkshire area.

As the Downstream Process data scientist you will be responsible for contributing to the generation and analysisof process development data for antibody-based therapeutics.


KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Downstream Process data science will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Undertake small-scale process development experiments for fundamental understanding of individual unit operations that may support in silico modelling
2. assisting in the evaluation of new bioprocess technologies

  • To perform data analysis and visualisations, with the goal of automated data handling
  • To work as party of a cross functional, international team

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic Knowledge of biological processes and some experience of cell culture and/or antibody chromatography, with an understanding of analytical methods for assessing product purity and antibody protein characterisation are preferred.
  • Proven industry experience in the pharmaceutical sector
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with an understanding of data analysis with an interest in automation of data processing and in-silico modelling
