Your dream role
- An exciting opportunity for a
Senior Manufacturing Biotechnologist to join our team. - This position will report into one of our Section Managers and will directly support successful manufacturing operations.
- You will act as a direct stand in for line management at certain meetings as required.
- Lead manufacturing project and improvement initiatives (inc. CAPA) assuring delivery to agreed target dates.
- Act as the manufacturing counterpart to Manufacturing Science and Technology (MSAT) supporting new project introduction and process technical transfer into the cleanroom.
- You will be a point of contact for inprocess escalations.
- Raise and close deviations as well as driving on time closure of QMS (deviation, CAPA, change control).
- Update documents with mínimal review comments.
- Lead allocated manufacturing projects (may include change control, URS, crossfunctional planning) and report progress to the manufacturing management team.
- Deliver high quality training in your area of expertise, driving a culture of RFT.
- Demonstrate outstanding cleanroom behaviour and be an influencer within the team.
- Responsible for resolving minor events within the cleanroom.
About you
- A minimum of 3 years' clean room and sterile manufacturing experience.
- Competent in typical Grade B cleanroom roles (e.g. Scribe, Assistant, or Operator).
- Experience of setting up cleanrooms including introduction and qualification of new equipment.
- Experience of process technical transfer and the introduction into the cleanroom environment.
- The ability to present yourself as an exceptional role model to more junior Biotechnologists and Technicians, demonstrating compliant cGMP practices and building a positive work environment.
- Demonstrate indepth knowledge of routine processing for longer term processes i.e. everything required prior to and after manufacture through to batch release disposition.
- Competent at addressing QA & client comments.
- Able to proactively make decisions, either in discussions with Leads or escalating to management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; able to explain technical or complex concepts in a clear format.
- Good organisational and planning skills with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- You will be able to create a positive environment through selfawareness and social skills.
- A determination to succeed, with a 'can do' attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail with a real desire to continually develop and improve our processes.
Qualifications
- You will hold a HNC, HND, or BSc in a Life Science discipline, or have equivalent Manufacturing experience.
