    Description

    Senior Commercial Developer Role Overview

    The Senior Commercial Developer supports negotiation and execution of specific deals, requiring management consulting and/or agriculture experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Structuring, negotiating, and executing sophisticated deal structures across the ag/bio interface.
    • Evaluating and investing in transformation options, including technology licensing and valuation.
    • Anticipating and managing non-technical risks (legislative, regulatory, reputational, political, and social) and developing mitigations.
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across bp in an agile manner or jointly with partners.
    • Holistic project management, analysis, research, and definitive document development with legal expertise.

    Requirements:

    • Commercially driven and proactive.
    • Direct experience in management consulting and the energy or agricultural value chain.
    • Exposure to the biofuels value chain and a good understanding of biofuel techno-economics are beneficial.
    • A strategic thinker capable of tackling complex topics.
    • Ability to prioritize and respond to dynamic situations and changing policy landscapes.
    • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Confident in engaging senior external and internal collaborators.

    Desired Experience:

    • Background in MBB consulting, agriculture, or energy.
