We are seeking a Kitchen Porter to join our culinary team.

As a Kitchen Porter, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, handling, and service in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Washing up and putting away
Assist with food preparation and cooking under the direction of the chef
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Help with plating and presentation of dishes
Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and notify the chef when supplies are low
Assist with banquet and catering events as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service environment is preferred
Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from the chef
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Part-time hours: 12 per week
