Our client are a Private Equity backed business within an exciting and growing sector are seeking a Group Financial Controller to join them on a permanent basis, offering hybrid working.

As the Group Financial Controller, you will bring finance expertise to the group allowing it to grow the service the department offers to the group at the same time as bringing further financial control and reporting abilities.

The core responsibilities of the Group Financial Controller but not limited to will be:

Responsibility for effective management of the finance function across the group.
Ensure the financial strategy is implemented according to business plans.
Manage the financial systems of the Group, looking to improve functionality, process and control.
Overall responsibility for consolidation and production of monthly management accounts for the Group ensuring all reporting, both financial and operational, are accurate and available on time.
Developing and constantly improving the board reporting process and information to clearly articulate the performance of the group.
Owning the budget and forecast process.
Developing models for the continuous forecasting of profit and cashflows.
Reporting to the Private Equity owners as required.
Involvement in strategic projects as well as commercial support to the operating businesses.
Management of the audit and statutory reporting process and relationships
Responsibility for compliance with tax regulations and liaising with advisors.

Ideally, the Group Financial Controller will be a fully qualified Accountant with proven experience leading a finance team and developing people.

You will hold strong statutory reporting knowledge. Also, possessing a commercial mindset and experience businesspartnering with operations and commercial teams.
