Part-time Receptionist/Administrator

Part-time, Permanent

1pm to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Start approx. 1st May 2024


Oceanscan, a leading equipment rental supplier to the offshore oil & gas and wind energy industries, are looking for a part-time Receptionist/Administrator to join its Aberdeen team.


Responsibilities include:


  • Reception and switchboard operations.
  • Receive, sign in Visitors to Oceanscan
  • Open, log and distribute all incoming mail (except private & confidential)
  • Ordering of Stationery
  • Maintenance of Purchase Order system, including PO Register and Purchase Orders.
  • Administrative duties for Personnel, including formatting of CVs and responding to applicants.
  • Frank outgoing mail, make sure post is ready for collection at appropriate time & keep franking machine in credit.
  • Organise Taxi bookings, and upkeep of taxi log.
  • Ad Hoc duties

The Person:


  • Computer literate with ability to learn inhouse SAP system
  • Word and Excel experience
  • Good Communication Skills
  • Switchboard experience
