Osborne Appointments are supporting a large logistics specialist in a search for a driven, people focused individual wanting to join a team based in Loanhead, EH20 9BY on a Supervisor position.

As a Supervisor in our client's team you will be required to oversee the collection of abandoned trolleys and ensure that they are quickly returned to customer pick-up points in a good clean condition.


Supervisor's key responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team to deliver the highest standard of service to the customer
  • Work alongside the team in completing duties as a working member of the team
  • Ensure team's adherence to the company's HR policies, health and safety policies and procedures inclusive of all applicable safe systems of work
  • Liaise with store managers and staff to help develop and maintain excellent working customer relationships
  • Deal with customers and resolve customer complaints.
  • Carry out general maintenance, inspection, cleaning and repairs to the trolley fleet on site
  • Motivate, train and develop the team

What we are looking for:

  • Ability to run a small team (up to 10 members)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Computer literacy
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis (40 hours over any 5 days in the week)
