Salvere Support is recruiting for naturally caring Male or Female Support workers within the area of Blackburn.


Being able to drive is essential.
Applicants from people of a similar age to the customer, 30+, is important. Experience preferable but not essential, as full training is provided, the right personality will be key.

Salvere Support will give individuals in their independence to remain in their own homes. We offer excellent funded training opportunities, permanent contracts, enhanced pay on some bank holidays, enhanced DBS and company pension. Our pay rates are higher than average in the care sector.


We are offering

  • Hourly rate £13.05 plus company pension
  • Casual Contract
  • Shifts are varied throughout the week
  • Additional hours available if you are willing to support client with exercise swimming 3 times a week (not a requirement for applying)

The Job


The main aim is to support this young man to remain living as independently as he can within the family home.

He has a really good active lifestyle and has many interests that you will be involved in. He loves good educated conversation. Being able to communicate clearly will important,

Other parts of the job will include

  • Personal care.
  • Measures to maintain a good skin state.
  • Supporting with his own anxieties.
  • Medication administration
  • Support to travel to, and participate in social activities including swimming.
  • Support to travel to, and attend appointments.
  • Monitoring of general health and wellbeing, daily record keeping as such.
You will be supported and encouraged to undertake role specific training and education opportunities to develop your skills further. You are required to undertake all mandatory training relevant, online and in person.
