A 3, 4-month temporary role for a facilities Manager, to work for a large education organisation with a number of different sitesThe Facilities Manager has a responsibility to ensure that the physical infrastructure and associated services are fit for purpose and provide the correct level of support to the University.
You will be responsible for continually improving service deliveryperformance across all building and conference services.You will manage and maintain an effective Customer focused support service providing a range of facilities across a number of properties, including lodge and reception, security, farm and vineyard, laboratories, safety and sustainability and building and groundsmaintenance.
You will be a responsible and natural team leader, working closely with other senior professional and administrative staff and academic colleagues.
You will be responsible for leading, managing and developing your team.You will oversee the maintenance and admin team, provide liaison with contractors working on site and be on call for Health and Safety issues.
