Are you an experienced KS3 or KS4 English SEND teacher based in Little Thurrock, South Essex? Then TP Tutors want to hear from you We are recruiting Secondary SEN English educators to fill several tutor positions we have.


1:1 tuition will take place within the child's home, a local library or in some cases can take place online.

You will be required to work hours per week.

We work with pupils with SEND (special educational needs and disabilities) which can include a variety of needs. This can include Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties. Therefore, you will need to have experienceand feel confident tutoring for complex and challenging needs.


About the Role:

  • Will be based in Little Thurrock, South Essex, in the child's home or potentially online.
hours per week

  • Competitive salary of up to £30 per hour
  • Working 1:1 with a SEND pupil (inc. Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).
  • Will need to assess pupils academic learning level and plan and deliver tailored learning sessions to their specific needs.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with the student.
  • Track and monitor their progress through our virtual platform LEAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
