Pineapple Careers are proud to be partnering with a well-known organisation based out the outskirts of Horsham who are looking to recruit a Part-time Finance & HR Assistant on a Permanent basis.

This role is based on 18 hours per week being spread over 3-4 days, with flexibility in which days the hours are carried out.

Key Responsibilities:


Finance

  • Prepare & process invoices using Xero
  • Reconciliation
  • Assist internal staff and suppliers with any queries which may arise
  • Process Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Prepare BACS payments with the Finance Manager
  • Cash & bank postings
  • Preparing agreed payment runs
  • Weekly Bank Statement reconciliation
  • Dealing with Petty Cash
  • Prepare reports
  • Reconcile credit card statements and prepare journals
  • Aspects of credit control
  • Updating balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with the Finance Manager to prepare for yearend
  • Pension submissions
  • Responding to requests for adhoc financial information
  • Assist the Finance Manager with all aspects of payroll preparation

HR

  • Assist in staff performance reviews
  • Carry out all reference checks for all new starters
  • Maintain staff files both electronically and paperbased
  • Keep abreast of Employment Legislation to assist and advise staff
  • Collate staff training requests and requirements
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining all HR Policies
  • Act as a confidential minute taker as and when required
  • Adhoc administration duties

Salary & Benefits:

- £10,800

  • Parttime based on 18 hours per week over 34 days
  • Excellent Pension Contribution
  • 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays (Pro Rata)

  • Based on the outskirts of Horsham
