The William Wilberforce has a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and enthusiastic Wellbeing Coordinator to join our team.
The role of the Wellbeing Coordinator is to enable our residents to maintain active and independent lives through the creation and delivery of individualised and group activity plans that suit a range of abilities based on their interests
Our dedicated team at The William Wilberforce provide care in a safe homely atmosphere where its residents are cared for with dignity and respect.
Our aim is that each resident can function at their optimum level where they can feel content and at home, where their needs are met with priority.
The role of a Wellbeing Coordinator includes but is not limited to:- Planning and initiating monthly rolling/individual programmes and encouraging Service Users to engage and maintain pre-existing hobbies or introduce them to new interests.
- Regularly seek the feedback of our Residents and involve them in the social calendar.
- Assist in the individual assessment of the social needs of the residents, through meeting with them, team members and family members
- Support providing stimulation and to residents that meet their individual needs through a wide and varied activities programme including music, exercise and arts & crafts
- Be creative with further activities to push the boundaries of the typical activity programme.
- Assisting with lunch duties (when necessary)
- Assist in developing community links with local groups
- Arranging birthday surprises for the home residents.
- Liaising with the marketing team for 'The week's highlights'
- Updating activity notes and care plans.
