Summary of the Planner:
As a Planner you will be responsible for the planning of our field-based engineers within your allocated geographical/contracted area. You will manage the day-to-day planning tasks and ensure that you are providing exceptional service delivery to all customers.

You will need to efficiently plan your engineers work to ensure that all SLAs are met, and the engineers productivity is at maximum efficiency.

You will be the main point of contact for the engineers, Field Supervisors and Field Managers who work within yourallocated area.

The contracts that you will be working on are within the Council and Social Housing field. You will take direction and support from Gas Team Leaders, Field Supervisors and Field Managers.

Planners will also make outbound calls to customersto schedule in appointments for outstanding and follow up works as well as annual gas service checks using our in-house system.


Responsibilities of the Planner:

  • Effectively plan engineers work
  • Take ownership of your engineers daily workload
  • Inbound calls from the engineers on the dedicated Engineer Line
  • Monitor engineers are ready for work and dispatch unallocated works
  • Check previous day has no outstanding works
  • Ensure all works are planned in and completed within the contracts SLA
  • Managing and actioning the Action Lists the Planning Team are responsible for
  • Scheduling appointments with customers
  • Proactively work towards the reduction of incoming complaints
  • In the event of absence, manage and monitor any changes to works scheduled
  • Keeping customers informed and updated
  • Support all team members in all tasks
  • Ensure all daily tasks are completed
