Due to rapid expansion Mindray UK requires an ambitious Accounts Assistant, as an entry level role, to join our expanding team.


In this role, you will assist the UK Accounting & Tax Manager with production of finance and accounting information for our UK subsidiary of Mindray Europe.

Providing leading technologies to the hospitals, Mindray's solutions help provide safe and high-quality care. From the general ward to the theatres, you will see Mindray products in many international caregiving environments.


Your responsibilities:

Accounts payable

  • Vendor invoice checking and approvals via SAP Concur
  • Vendor statement reconciliation
  • Contacting supplier in relation to queries and requests of copy invoices
  • Liaising with our shared service centre (SSC) regarding purchase invoice posting and queries
  • Assisting SSC in preparing weekly supplier payment runs

Accounts receivable

  • Reconciling customer payments to outstanding invoices

Credit management

  • Monitoring and releasing sales orders in credit block
  • Maintain relevant documentation
  • Responsible for collection of receivables from customers.
  • Contact customers by telephone and/or letter if necessary
  • Send monthly statements
  • Issues escalation or final notice letters
  • Dealing with customers queries

Employee Expense management

  • Manage expense processing and approvals using SAP Concur
  • Assist employees in understanding of expense policy and respond to queries as required
  • Assist with the control and management of company fuel cards & mobiles

Other Tasks

  • Assist logistics/customer service with the management and control of inventory and undertake monthly finance stock check.
  • Assist with internal and external auditors requirements
  • Ad hoc reports for local management and EU/HQ Finance departments

  • The amount of experience you have isn't important, your desire to learn and growis

  • Preferably studying towards AAT ideally at Level
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to work to deadlines
  • Comprehensive understanding of Excel
  • Ability to work in the country for which you have applied without the requirement for company sponsorship
