We are looking for
2 Team Leads to join our Content & Web Teams here at Reach.

Reporting to the Head of Development, you will be responsible for leading and empowering a squad of talented engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensure effective communication and collaboration, and drive the successful delivery of projects.

  • Lead and motivate the team to deliver highquality software solutions within specified timelines and quality standards
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the squad and with crossfunctional teams, fostering a culture of transparency and teamwork.
  • Support the career development and professional growth of team members by providing guidance and mentorship.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the team, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and implementing best practices.
  • Monitor and report project progress, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
  • Assist in recruitment efforts including assessing CVs, participating in interviews, and contributing to the selection process to attract top engineering talent.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable senior experience in software development with experience in a leadership or supervisory role and a proven track record of leading and delivering successful software projects
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Agile methodologies and ceremonies
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fastpaced, dynamic work environment and manage multiple priorities effectively

Essential Proficiency (Content Team)
-
DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

AWS: Proficient with AWS technologies.
-
Research & Evaluation: Capability to evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms, and determine their feasibility for the organisation.


Desirable Proficiency (Content Team)
-
Kafka or similar technologies: Familiarity with message brokers.

Microservices: Experience with event-driven microservices.
-
REST APIs: Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.


Essential Proficiency (Web Team)
-
React: Expert and knowledge of Library and ecosystem
-
HTML/CSS: Up to date knowledge of all the changes to standard web APIs
-
REST APIs: Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.

DevOps and CI/CD: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code.

Research & Evaluation: Capability to evaluate new technologies, tools, and platforms, and determine their feasibility for the organisation.

AWS: Knowledge with AWS technologies.


Desirable Proficiency (Web Team)

NextJS: Knowledge of framework and the new app router

React Server Components: Knowledge of the complexities of server components
