A Forward-Thinking educational setting within Birmingham, is currently looking for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant to start in February 2023 on a long-term basis.


About the Role:


  • You will be supporting a class of primary students, working 1:1 with a child who has severe autism, with 2 other trained teaching assistants
  • You will be supporting students with special educational needs, such as Autism, Mental Health, and Physical difficulties
  • You will be required to assist with personal care including supporting with toileting, feeding, and changing.

  • Ofsted rated "Good"
  • This school is for students aged 519 with Special and complex educational needs such as Autism, communication, and language difficulties, Emotional and Mental Health, sensory, physical development difficulties.

About You:


  • Experienced working with students with SEN needs including Emotional and behavioural needs
  • A caring, nurturing, and patient manner to be able to work in a SEN environment
  • Hold a teaching assistant, degree qualification, or experience
  • Knowledge of the primary curriculum is desirable

£77.00-£100.00 per day
