Software Verification and Validation Team Lead

Salary:
Up to £65,000

Package includes:

Company bonus of up to £2,500 (based on company performance and will vary year to year)
Pension of maximum total (employer and employee) contribution of up to 14%

You'll be part of a team of engineers and technical experts who deliver specialist expertise across a range of products.

It's a great place to learn about the company's entire product range within a team that is embracing innovative technologies

You will lead a team of V&V engineers to deliver of IVV (Independent Verification and Validation) activities on specific projects.

There are many key elements to this role:

Team Leadership-
Ensure excellence is provided by delivering a range of independent verification activities-
Development and execution of formal tests by the IVV Team-
Ensuring evidence is produced which demonstrates that the Software Safety Requirements-
Evidence supporting the Software Safety Case is provided-
Providing evidence to show that the weapon systems are demonstrated as fit for purpose-
To further develop the capability of the team through continuous improvement, coaching and mentoring

skills and experience required- You'll bring previous experience of leading teams Experience in planning and implementing verification activities on high-integrity or mission-critical software It would be beneficial for you to have experience of working with embedded systems and equipment A motivated engineer who values the benefits of coaching and mentoring Not critical but useful if you have experience and knowledge of software safety standards e
