Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Junior IT Supporter to join our team in East Kilbride to provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT-related tasks and best practices.


As IT Support, you will play a vital role in assisting our staff with technical issues and providing excellent customer service.

You will have the opportunity to work under the guidance of experienced IT professionals and gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining and supporting various IT systems.


Essential Duties:


  • Provide prompt, professional service to endusers, business customers, and partners
  • Identify and escalate issues to appropriate resources when necessary
  • Maintain logs of user activity and provide reports as needed
  • Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a willingness to learn
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or supervisor

Required Skills & Experience:


  • Higher National Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Familiarity with networking concepts, protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to communicate well with internal/external customers
  • Proficient in diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Problem solving skills are a must
  • Strong verbal communication skills are essential; ability to write reports is required.
