Commercial Analytics Consultant

Are you our next Commercial Analyst? We are looking for someone who can help us redefine what's possible for analytical projects and support the senior commercial team in effective decision making and delivering value to the business.

What is the role?
Responsible for completing analytical projects and underpinning commercial strategy. In-depth analytical modelling and a commercial mind-set contribute to the development of the projects.

Using imperfect data sources, structuring ambiguous projects, and driving your workstream independently this role is key to delivering persuasive business recommendations.

What will you do? _(Accountabilities)_

Scope and deliver projects which arrive at rigorous and actionable answers for commercial decisionmakers
Produce accurate and auditable analytical models to answer strategic commercial questions
Create complex quantitative methods including regression analysis and key strategic concepts, e.g. customer segmentation, market sizing, business/investment cases etc.
Produce reliably highquality output and work with stakeholders to identify and quantify opportunities, present back succinct, polished, board ready materials

Do you have what we're looking for? _(Skills & experience)_

Postgraduate business or statistics qualification (inc. MBA) desirable
Strong demonstratable experience of working in a Strategy, Consulting, or other senior advisory role
Proven ability to break down problems, test hypotheses, and produce recommendations based on a range of quantitative and qualitive data and contribute to succinct, polished, board ready materials
Proven ability to with stakeholders to identify and quantify opportunities
Understanding of commercial issues impacting the Commercial function (Retail, Catering, Car Parking/Yield Mgt., Property or Aviation)
Familiarity with MS Office, especially Excel, including modelling / forecasting. Ability to work in other data analysis tools (e.g. R, Python) desirable
