Learning Support Assistant - SEN
Are you passionate about supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?

Now Education is currently seeking dedicated SEN Support Assistants to join our team in Halifax to work in Secondary Schools on fixed term contracts, many of which will lead to a permanent position in the school.

Learning Support Assistant Job Description

Provide invaluable support to students with SEN in classrooms. Typical additional needs include Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) ADHD and Global Developmental Delay.
Assist in implementing tailored learning plans for individual students.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to address student needs effectively.

SEN Support Assistant Requirements

Prior experience working with children with SEN is advantageous.
Possession of relevant qualifications or willingness to undergo training.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting diverse learning needs.
