We are currently recruiting

Building Surveyors to work within the
Asset Management Service at
Lancashire County Council .


The Building Surveyors are responsible for the design and delivery of a large and varied portfolio of building projects across Lancashire.

We pride ourselves on delivering a high-quality, cost-effective service to a variety of Educational establishments and corporate buildings.

Our team works both independently and as part of a wider multidisciplinary team include Architects, Building Services Engineers, Interior designers, geotechnical specialists, landscape architects and ecologists.

Due to significant investment in the Education Sector and our Corporate portfolio were are looking to expand our team.


CommunicativeYou'll need both skills and personality to deliver on this role so we're looking for someone personable and friendly with fabulous skills and knowledge - we are seeking a Building Surveyor with lots of enthusiasm and the dedication required to help contribute to our continued success - we'd like you to have the ability to build lasting working relationships with clients and colleagues so having a team orientated approach is essential - you should be technically competent with a resilient nature ensuring that you can have those difficult conversations with challenging clients when needed, we want you to be an aspirational individual with a willingness to take personal responsibility for any building projects under your realm - finally your professional integrity and practice will build trust and instil confidence with your clients, team and stakeholders


DiligentWe are hoping to attract a diligent individual who understands the impact and the value of your effort has to our wider team and the community we support - so were looking for that special someone who has the confidence to succeed and drive projects forward whilst providing innovative solutions to any building and design related challenges - you'll have the inner confidence and a preventative methodology to spot any issues before they evolve - whilst using your initiative we'll need you to prioritise and organise your workload as you will be adding your value to multiple projects at any one time - you'll also have a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our decarbonisation strategy so a keen focus on energy efficiency and the future sustainability of our buildings
