An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a Band 4 Youth Worker to join the expanding Teenage and Young Adult Team


We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and compassionate person to join our CNS team at the Royal Surrey County Hospital.

We are clinically led and provide joined up care by bridging the gap between hospital and community services alongside regional specialist cancer care.

Our main acute hospital site is in Guildford with community hospital sites at Milford, Haslemere and Cranleigh. We provide adult community health services in homes across Guildford and Waverley.


We have received an overall Good rating from the CQC with Medical care (including older peoples care), End of Life Care and Maternity services being deemed Outstanding by the CQC.

To work as part of the Teenage and Young Adult (TYA) cancer service to provide age-appropriate activities and support to facilitate cognitive, social and emotional development of young people aged 16-30 years.

The role will involve working in a TYA-specific clinical areas at The Royal Surrey Foundation Trust Hospital, and some non-hospital settings e.g.

external peer support activities
