We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.

We're looking for a Marketing Executive to become a key part of our Schools marketing teams.

We need creative people who are passionate about marketing and branding and who want to develop their careers at Cambridge.

The role will be part of creating, executing and supporting multi-channel marketing campaigns that bring our brand and products to life.

It's an exciting time as we continue to embed our new English brand for Cambridge and be part of the Schools team to deliver that.


About the role


As part of the global marketing team, you will be at heart of the action; creating and delivering campaigns and content marketing for Cambridge.

You will be a part of a newly-formed team, ready to drive forward plans through strong collaboration, management of schedules and development of content to meet strategic aims.


You will be fundamental in supporting the delivery of fully-integrated marketing campaigns that align with marketing plans, stand-out creatively and engage target audiences.

Therefore the role requires a highly-motivated individual with the ability to work within a team, as well as on their own initiative.

You'll collaborate daily with internal stakeholders based locally and globally, alongside our agencies and partners.

In addition to this, you'll play a key role in supporting your team with logístical and project management tasks to help ensure everything runs smoothly and the team delivers the best results.

You will be a strong communicator with good attention to detail, as you'll be proofreading, editing and copywriting as part of your day-to-day routine.

The role offers plenty of opportunity to be involved in varied and exciting projects, from customer research to content creation.

About you


At the core of your experiences to date, you will have worked on briefing and designing the delivery of successful multi-channel marketing campaigns and activities tailored to relevant audiences/markets.

Experiences in digital marketing and good copywriting skills are also essential.


Essential skills, knowledge and qualifications:


  • Educated to degree level
  • English language level at a minimum of CEFR level C2/ IELTS 8.0 or above
  • Experience in briefing and projectmanaging marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional copywriting skills
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Great attention to detail with the ability to proofread
  • Experience in Digital Marketing
  • Experience working with external agencies
  • Excellent project management skills
