**Package Details

**Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all qualityrelated issues within the manufacturing team (e.g. internal, supplier, customer and customer warranty)
  • Plan, execute, and oversee inspection and testing of incoming and outgoing product to confirm quality conformance to specifications and quality deliverables
  • Implement a working system to ensure conformity and accuracy in the production process
  • Identify root cause and instigate permanent corrective actions for product quality issues
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards
  • Ensure control plans and associated documentation are implemented effectively and maintained
  • Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any nonconformity relating to product, process or system
  • Keep up with current and developing manufacturing and engineering trends that concern product quality
  • Support and lead process improvement and continuous improvement activities
  • Produce written reports and present progress at stake holders' meetings where applicable
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments within the wider Joule group, customers, suppliers, and other service providers
  • Support regular inspection meetings with representatives from appropriate departments to establish an action plan for improving build quality
  • Ensure the return process is followed and managed accordingly to ensure investigation reports with appropriate corrective actions implemented where applicable.
  • Assist with testing and inspection of incoming materials as well as approval of samples for production.
**Required Skills

  • Previous experience as Quality Engineer or similar role
  • Handson experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies
  • Indepth understanding of technical documentation and drawings
  • Knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods and tools
  • Great attention to details and problemsolving abilities
  • Good analytical skills and familiarity with statistical analysis
  • BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field
  • Experience of working to ISO 9001: 2015 or other certification such as ISO 14001: 201
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Excellent organisation skills
