Newstaff Employment Agency is recruiting for a Sales Advisor in Hemel Hempstead


The Sales Advisor's main role is to ensure that the highest priority is given to answering the telephone and dealing with all enquiries professionally using the correct telephone manner and recording sales orders accurately and efficiently onto the company sales order system.


Sales Advisor in Hemel Hempstead:


About you:


  • Good communication
  • Sales skills
  • Teamwork and customer care skills along with an
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Sales order processing and procedures answering the telephone, advising customers of the correct delivery s, minimise waste, chasing manufacturers if needed, monitoring back orders
  • Deal with complaints in a professional manner. Check customer returns, and amend sales orders in line with procedures to minimise stock loss

Trade counter:


  • Good cash control to minimise cash shortages
  • Check cash and do outstanding collections on a regular basis
  • Keep customer samples up to date and clean and tidy
  • Order replacement samples from manufacturers and advise all sales staff including directors

Personal requirements:


  • You must be able to demonstrate a willingness and ability to perform all functions of the team and relevant responsibilities
  • Undertake any training offered
  • Set own performance standards and targets
  • Recognise areas for development

Visit to the sales office:


  • Log and provide information on all manufacturer representatives' visits concerning sales, merchandising and trade in general
  • Health and safety training and guidelines are to be adhered to at all times

Additional information:


  • Salary £20800
  • 20 days holiday
  • Hours Monday to Friday 8 am till 5 pm
