Description
Purchasing & Planning Administrator
Optical Filters are leaders in the design and manufacture of display screen products including EMI-shielded windows, optical laminating, display filters and other specialist glass and polycarbonate screens.
The Role:
- Raising purchase orders in a timely manner
- Monitoring and supporting Kanban stock as required
- Expediting orders with suppliers, looking for any overdue or potentially overdue orders
- Updating lead times in line with actual
- Identifying opportunities for cost reductions where appropriate
- Assisting with supplier returns
- Inventory control
- Reporting and note taking in weekly production meetings
- Raise works orders for production
About you:
- Experience in a manufacturing experience desirable.
- Knowledge of Kanban system of stock replenishment
- Familiar using an ERP/MRP system
- Attention to detail.
- Selfmotivated team player
Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday (24 days holiday plus public holidays)
Job Types:

Pay:
£25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
