Job Title: Electrical Test Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to join our team based in Thame. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing and fault finding of both high and low-voltage switchgear assemblies following test procedures and using traditional fault diagnostics.

The ideal candidate will work from electrical schematics to ensure the safety and functionality of systems and associated equipment (control panels, electrical boards etc.). They will work closely with the Production Manager and shop floor staff to meet tight deadlines and targets.

Key responsibilities include conducting panel wiring of equipment that will subsequently be fitted to the switchgear, advising the rest of the team on any electrical issues or suggestions, and occasionally visiting customer sites to provide on-site fitting, testing and advice.

Accountabilities:

• Adhere to all Company Health and Safety Policies and Practices
• Manage the Health and safety and housekeeping of your work area
• Ensure accurate completion of test records as required
• Conduct maintenance in line with schedules and equipment requirements

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience
