- Role Overview
As Sales Manager, your role will include forging strong, long-lasting client relationships, plus providing ongoing account management and sales support, to institutional customers in the UK.
You'll be responsible for driving new sales and opportunities, aswell as ensuring the growth of existing accounts.You will be responsible for selling both digital solution services and also physical audio content.
Although the position is home-based, we believe that face-to-face meetings foster the best relationships, therefore travelling in the South of England - particularlyLondon is required.
This is not a "9 to 5" job- we are looking for an individual with a real passion for working hard and delivering impressive results.
Core Competencies:
- As a target driven business, demonstrable experience in delivering significant results within a sales environment is a must.
- Experience selling to institutions in a competitive and resistant market against established vendors will be an advantage.
- Experience working in the book industry is preferred.
- Excel at finding and closing new opportunities, building relationships and growing existing accounts.
- Exceptionally strong closing as well as consultative selling skills.
- Goal orientated, motivated selfstarter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation and public speaking skills.
- Willing to travel 4 days out of 5 if the needs of the business require.
- About You
You will be an expert in consultative selling and be passionate about audiobooks and libraries as well as a drive to be the very bestat everything you do.
You will enjoy multi-tasking and able to adapt to the needs of a changing marketplace.You will be immersed in digital technology and embrace the world of digital content and all the opportunities it provides.
