MLC is proud to be partnered with The Royal Parks in its search campaign for several newly created business critical finance positions.


The Royal Parks charity was formed in March 2017 and manages over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London.

The eight Royal Parks are among the most visited attractions in theUK with 77 million visits every year and growing.

The charity is commercially focused and complex, with a large proportion of its income generated from events, catering, leisure, and other licence agreements.


The Interim Accountant will be a broad generalist role, providing support to a number of the existing team as they focus on the finance system transformation programme throughout the next 12 months.

Providing cover across the financial and management accountingfunctions, the role will regularly present new challenges.


Main responsibilities include:


  • Work closely with the financial accountant to deliver annual financial statements and statutory reports.
  • Provide broad support with the production of the monthly management accounts, working with stakeholders on the annual budgeting process.
  • Assist in producing quarterly VAT returns, post/approve journals and carry out balance sheet reconciliations where necessary.
  • Be a selfstarter, experienced with a broad range of finance knowledge and able to hit the ground running.
  • Preferably have worked in charity finance team, although broad experience elsewhere will also be useful.
