Contract Length: 9 months

Location:
Hybrid/Manchester with travels to other hubs when needed (based at the office 1-2 per week)

Spinwell is recruiting for a Commercial Lead for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.


RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE COMMERCIAL LEAD

  • Drive working with the business to understand the emerging specific exit requirements on the programme
  • Review incumbent contracts to see if the emerging requirements are sufficiently covered in the incumbent arrangements
  • If they are not sufficiently covered develop an exit contract with the incumbents
  • Once successful bidders identified for service review the exit provisions from above and build commercial arrangements
  • Outcome to ensure we have robust commercial arrangements to support the exit of the incumbent contracts to service when the contract is awarded in April 23.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE COMMERCIAL LEAD

  • Procurement Expertise
  • Significant procurement and commercial experience in a complex and policyled environment, across the end to end lifecycle;
  • Manages Complexity: Experience of managing large contracts with complex commercial structures to ensure value for money is achieved. Demonstrating strategic thinking, flexibility, risk management and resilience.


  • Decisive

  • Evidence of the successful design and delivery of holistic endtoend strategic category plans and commercial strategies;
  • Builds Relationships: Experience of building and influencing strong, productive relationships at all levels and with a variety of stakeholders with different backgrounds, perspectives and drivers, in a highly complex, fastmoving, commercially focused environment.
