John Charcol is currently looking for an Enquiry Support Adviser to join our team in Southampton.


As an enquiry support adviser, you will be required to make outbound phone calls to prospective clients in response to new enquiries with a view to booking/transferring the client for appointments for the telephony-based mortgage advisers.


Key responsibilities:


  • Consistently demonstrate placing the customer's best interest at the heart of everything you do.
  • Optimise the number of clients passed to advisers by contacting them in an efficient and prescribed manner.
  • Act as the first point of contact with clients and engage and encourage them towards a held appointment with the mortgage and/or protection advisers.
  • Develop and grow effective working relationships with the sales advisers to assist them in achieving their sales targets.
  • Maintain a high standard of service quality and product knowledge whilst maintaining high standards of integrity, conduct and behaviour.
  • Drive the business forward and respond positively to changes in business practise and objectives where necessary.
  • Adherence to company policies i.e. FCA, Health & Safety, Statutory & Employment Laws.

Experience:


  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills.
  • Ability to analyse customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Proficient in data entry and computer skills.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
