Description

To provide support for Academies in delivering a programme which supports students to make informed careers choices enabling them to move successfully into good careers.

You will work closely with the Head of Careers and the Careers Team to design, planand deliver an informed offer for students across your allocated Academies.

A multi-academy trust with over 50 schools around London


Description

The successful careers advisor will be expected to:

  • Work with academies to audit and plan high quality careers provision
  • Plan, manage and deliver a careers education programme
  • Develop links with and keep up to date with the range of opportunities available to students including education, apprenticeships and other work based education options
  • Implement Academy policies and procedures
  • Audit and evaluate careers education in each Academy

Profile

The successful careers advisor will have:

  • A diploma in Careers Guidance or Qualification in Careers Guidance to Level 6, or prepared to work towards Level
  • A working understanding of the full range of career opportunities for students, including apprenticeships
  • A Positive, enthusiastic, energetic, flexible with a 'can do' attitude
  • Knowledge of the university admissions system
