My client is one of the largest Police Forces in the UK and is based in the North of England who are currently in the process of expanding their Digital Policing Team.

As a result, they are currently seeking an Infrastructure Services Manager to play a key role in developing an effective Infrastructure Services strategy

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the quality of Infrastructure Services and related services meets or exceeds the agreed Service Level Agreement
  • Manage the strategic development of Digital Policing run services, making recommendations to the Head of Digital Policing which will achieve the objectives of securing value for money and quality improvement
  • Ensure the effective planning and implementation of a phased update and replacement of all infrastructure equipment making best use of product/service innovation opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Demonstrable experience of defining an Infrastructure strategy
  • Demonstrable understanding of Network, Server and Storage service provision
  • Financial experience of managing large technology budgets
  • Extensive experience of running a mission critical, 24×7 IT service, preferably in an emergency services environment
This is a hybrid role with Office (Ponteland) and homeworking with a salary of up to £51,711
