JOB SUMMARY
The Healthcare Industry Lead will be an experienced industry leader with extensive topic expertise, experience, and contacts responsible across the healthcare arena up to and including national strategy bodies and DHSE.
The role will focus on defining and activating sector wide strategies to increase the relevance and adoption of existing and new CDW solutions.
The postholder will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define technology initiatives, and solutions, accelerating CDW's growth across the Healthcare arena and positioning CDW as a preferred partner.
The postholder will focus on:
- Improving communication and language to position CDW as the partner of choice
- Bringing the challenges faced across the arena to life, matching solutions and delivering customer outcomes
- Delivering national, local and regional strategic approaches that increase CDW's reach and wallet share
KEY RESPONSBILITES
- Target high value healthcare accounts and projects
- Discovery of customers' business needs
- Addressing needs with proper solutions
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Coordinate with Sales to:
- Determine the market(s) to address
- Determine the accounts within target markets
- Collaborate with sales team to review current state of relationship within selected accounts
- Assist and support in execution of growth strategy within selected accounts
- Develop relationships with key organisations and manufacturers to further align CDW to the evolving needs of our customers
- Work closely with multiple stakeholders at the customer to influence the final requirements of the target opportunity, including executives, program leads, project leads, and technical experts
- Drives incremental revenue within our Healthcare customers through contract wins and strategic sales initiatives
- Analyses opportunities and provides leadership with various options and the best strategy to secure large program wins
- Identifies trends in customer purchasing patterns and enacts specific plans to help sales teams capture a greater share of business
- Articulates value proposition to sellers, partners and customers.
- Attends selected customer onsite meetings, business reviews, and industry days, as needed
- Works closely with various stakeholders throughout CDW.
- Represents company at external business networking opportunities, conferences, and events
- Training CDW sellers and sales teams on trends and solutions and mentor CDW Healthcare sellers on messaging to their customers.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defined as at least 8 years of relevant experience in the marketplace
- 6+ years of experience working on implementing large projects that effect many clinical and nonclinical departments in healthcare provider environments
- Prior experience working within a Healthcare organisation.
- Strong customer facing skills with a history of building solid relationships with Clevel contacts
- Proven track record of success in navigating procurement departments for additional opportunities
- Strong understanding of the healthcare market
