Transportation Coordinator

Working on a 12hr shift 4 days on 4 days off coordinating over 2 sites, based in Hemel Hempstead.

Duties:

Coordinate and schedule transportation activities for the organization
Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods
Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations
Track and monitor shipments to ensure ontime delivery
Resolve any transportationrelated issues or delays
Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including driver logs and vehicle maintenance records
Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and safety standards

Experience:

Previous experience in transportation coordination or logistics preferred
Familiarity with transportation management systems and software
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and problemsolving abilities
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet deadlines
