    Overview


    JKS Restaurants and Plaza Khao Gaeng are seeking Chef de Parties to join their restaurant operations in a brand new opening in central London. The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience and a passion for Asian cuisine.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef looking for a new role in an award-winning, critically acclaimed group.

    Plaza Khao Gaeng

    Khao gaeng broadly means "curry over rice." Plaza Khao Gaeng is a Southern Thai restaurant, a celebration of coast-to-jungle cuisine. It features curries thick with fresh coconut milk and aromatic curry pastes, fermented fish for depth, and searingly hot stir-fries with cooling herbs alongside.

    The concept draws on spaces that emerge around popularity; Plaza is inspired by a place that took over an old movie theatre in Bangkok. Curries in gleaming trays form an entrance to a space that is comfortable and calm amid street bustle.

    The Position


    We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, creating exceptional dishes and delivering an all-encapsulating experience to our guests. You'll have experience working in a quality kitchen, adhering to standard operating and Health and Safety procedures. More importantly we are looking for people who are as passionate about food and hospitality as we are

    Requirements

    • Prior experience as a Chef de Partie within a fast-paced quality restaurant;
    • Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in;
    • A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail;
    • Passion for food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn;
    • The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group;
