Signature Recruitment is thrilled to offer a full-time hybrid role for an Executive Assistant at a prestigious London university.

This is a temporary 6-month position with an immediate start, with the option of working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.


In this role, you will join a team of four Executive Assistants, primarily supporting two directors within a larger team of eleven.

Your responsibilities will include managing diaries and inboxes, booking rooms and travel, organising complex meetings, and updating the university database.

You will also liaise with various university members and handle other administrative duties as needed. The role demands flexibility, patience, and the ability to be a proactive team player with excellent problem-solving skills.


Executive Assistant Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide highlevel, proactive assistance to the Executive Director/Directors, anticipating their requirements for efficient and successful operation.
  • Act as a primary point of contact within the department, maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, presentations, and other documents.
  • Organize team meetings, adhoc gatherings, and manage aspects of budgets and expenses related to the Executive Director/Directors.
  • Undertake specific project management as requested and provide task instructions to colleagues on behalf of the Executive Director/Directors.
  • Develop and manage confidential filing systems and contribute to improving office and team processes.

Executive Assistant Key Skills:


  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and familiarity with online financial systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.

Job Types:

£20.60 per hour
