Job Title:
Financial Services Senior Solicitor

Location:
Surrey Heath

Salary:
Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

Advising clients on a broad spectrum of financial services matters, particularly in the wealth management, IFA and funds sectors
Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including distribution agreements, supplier agreements, and outsourcing agreements
Advising on regulatory issues in the financial services sector, including compliance with FCA rules and regulations
Conducting due diligence and drafting transactional documents for mergers and acquisitions in the financial services sector
Developing and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to business development initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor (5+qpe) with a strong background in financial services law
Sound, wellrounded knowledge of financial services law, with demonstrable experience advising on a broad spectrum of financial services matters, particularly in the wealth management, IFA and funds sectors
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience of advising on commercial contracts and general commercial issues
A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering highquality work to clients
