Summary


The Governing Body of Ightenhill Primary School would like to appoint an additional Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated support staff team.

The role will involve working with individual pupils, groups of pupils and whole-class support.

You will also experience delivering specific learning interventions and will also have some responsibility during part of the lunchtime break.

This post is being advertised initially on a fixed-term basis but there is the possibility of the contract being extended if funding allows

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification (or higher).
  • Secure Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE Grade 5 minimum in English and Mathematics)
Desirable Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification (or higher)
  • Other related or relevant qualifications.
Essential Experience

  • Recent, relevant experience working in a school setting
Desirable Experience

  • Recent, relevant and substantial experience working in a primary school setting.
  • Delivery of teaching and learning interventions
  • Delivery of synthetic phonics sessions
  • Working with pupils with additioanl learning needs
