Summary
The Governing Body of Ightenhill Primary School would like to appoint an additional Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated support staff team.
You will also experience delivering specific learning interventions and will also have some responsibility during part of the lunchtime break.
This post is being advertised initially on a fixed-term basis but there is the possibility of the contract being extended if funding allowsWe offer:

You will be:
- Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable with an understanding of your professional responsibilities.
- Have experience of effectively supporting teaching and learning, working with pupils with additional needs and delivering specific learning interventions.
- An excellent practitioner with energy, initiative and a desire to 'make a difference'An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and are able to work effectively as part of a team.
- NVQ Level 2 Teaching and Learning qualification (or higher).
- Secure Literacy and Numeracy skills (GCSE Grade 5 minimum in English and Mathematics)
- NVQ Level 3 Teaching and Learning qualification (or higher)
- Other related or relevant qualifications.
- Recent, relevant experience working in a school setting
- Recent, relevant and substantial experience working in a primary school setting.
- Delivery of teaching and learning interventions
- Delivery of synthetic phonics sessions
- Working with pupils with additioanl learning needs
