PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER- Medical
You will lead on medical product and category marketing management for a range of current and brand new products. Using analytics you will develop business channels and provide commercial procurement across various projects. This role is responsible from forend to end product innovation
- development to launch

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop the end to end channel marketing strategy for medical products
  • Design and develop products and value propositions for your categories
  • Research and develop each category
  • Use analytics to to understand key drivers of category performance and procurement strategies
  • Perform a risk analysis on the supply chain and demand pipeline
  • Demonstrate best value for money by developing key strategies to mange the marketplace and supplier management
  • Ensure value is delivered through the supplier relationships
  • Manage the product forecasts
  • Monitor competitors and market activity to ensure you are an expert within the channel
  • Identify commercial opportunities to develop
  • Work with stakeholders both internally and externally to maintain and communicate the strategy and ensure best practice
  • Complete market maps for each market alongside sales goals
  • Regularly analyse performance of products, category sales and margin trends by customer and entity
  • Develop pricing, channel product strategy, customer prioritisation, marketing, promotions and sales initiatives

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Experience marketing medical products/categories is preferable
  • Previous experience in a category role is essential. Medical preferred
  • Able to contribute to the development, delivery and management of product categories
  • Work collaboratively with individuals and teams inside and outside of the company
  • Expertise in contract management
- strong influencing and negotiating skills

  • Experience of developing risk analysis of the supply chain
  • Contribute to the marketing functions capability
  • A thirst for knowledge
  • Senior specialist commercial/industry experience in purchasing and supplying
  • Experience of produce launches
  • Proven record of value delivery, improvement activity and best practice in the procurement function

SALARY
Up to £45,000 plus benefits
