Description

The main objective of this role is to drive new business opportunities for the Group and our operating partners, building effective relationships with key decision makers within Innovation product brands in the UK to sell our Group services.

Your role entailsunderstanding what matters most to our clients to directly impact how we communicate, pitch, and interact.

Utilising the assets and tools provided, maintain a compliant CRM to support effective business forecasting and gatekeep Our rate cards to ensure maximumachievement from client budgets.


Purpose:


  • Continuously assess the competitor landscape and ensure that our POD is clearly communicated
  • Collate and store information related to brand contract end dates and contract renewals to target brands at the optimum moment in their contract lifecycle
  • Deliver against new business revenue and GP targets identified across the group
  • Work efficiently with partners to convert leads through to sale
  • Generate new leads utilising network, referrals, and relationships
  • Create accurate IN and CLIENT costs using rate cards provided and store in the appropriate place within the business drive
  • Pre submission, obtain cost approval from Commercial Director
  • Present to clients in face to face and via virtual meetings with the objective to close
  • Share contracting information with Commercial Director for final sign off
  • Ensure the CRM is always 100% compliant with each client, contact, deal, value and lead contacts updated daily
  • Ensure understanding of the ROI from each service offering across the Group and can clearly communicate the benefits
  • Identify opportunities to be an external thought leader through content, events and networking
  • Build relationships with key external influencers in retail and ecommerce that help shape our reputation in the market
  • Continuously look to build the Groups proposition based on market data, evolving consumer behaviours and sector specific trends

Experience

  • CRM Operational experience
  • 2+ years' experience exceeding new business revenue objectives.
  • Business Development Capabilities
  • Strong relationships with brands and retailers across consumer goods brands.
