Test & Release Administrator Meadowhall 37 Hours per Week Mon -Fri
Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring that the quality of the product meets the required specification before moving to the next part of the process or being released to the customer.

Has the ability to respond to the needs of the business and embrace change. Heavily involved in Teamwork, Housekeeping, and Continuous Improvement.


Key Objectives of the Role:
 Practice and enforce a high standard of Health and Safety at all times.
 Review of all process and test documentation prior to shipment to ensure compliance with customer requirements;
 Preparation of all release documentation
 Arrange for testing of components with internal and external laboratories
 Ensure timely turn round of tests to meet customer requirements;
 Liaison with customer and 3rd party inspectors for approval of parts prior to shipment
 Implement and maintain controls associated to test pieces after testing; including the archiving of returned test material.
 Ability to move completed product onto the next process as necessary, and ensure product is stored in a safe manner.
 Work to the companies documented management system e.g. Standard Operating Procedures - Methods of Manufacture.
 Actively looking to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the department;
 Any other adhoc duties as required


The Applicant:

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Able to work to tight deadlines, and focus on detail to ensure high levels of accuracy
  • Computer literate with focus on Microsoft Office
  • Ability to prioritise workload and focus on key issues
  • Able to escalate problems and issues quickly and constructively and solve problems
  • Ideally have experience of test and release requirements for ISO9001 and AS9100
